Spread Design

This 4-step zine serves as a playful, tongue-in-cheek guide to joining a fictional Twilight fandom cult. Designed to reflect the moody, atmospheric tone of the first Twilight movie, I used a cool-toned color palette, sleek sans serif typography, and intentionally airy layouts to create a sense of calm and breathability. The visual tone is polished and cinematic, creating a stark contrast with the absurd, Gen Z-style humor in the text.

The zine plays with the idea of loving something ironically. That push-and-pull of mocking and adoring a cultural obsession. By pacing each spread with careful attention to image, color, and tone, the piece balances design integrity with an unserious narrative. It’s both a parody and a love letter, celebrating the so-bad-it’s-good legacy of Twilight with equal parts affection and satire.
